How to Plan a Wedding
FLOWERS!
A florist needs be chosen about 4 months before your wedding. The type of bouquet and arrangements need to fit the flow and theme of the day. Your bouquet needs to be compatible with your dress.
A nice way to dress up and arrangement is with either water, crystals, candles, or a combination. Adding these touches will really help them stand out. For end of guest isles choose a large glass votive on a stand put flowers in and fill with water. Place a floating candle on top to add real ambiance to isle. For a beautiful bridal bouquet add a crystal piece on the ribbon surrounding the stems of the flowers or for sparkle, attach large crystals to wires and place them inside the bouquet for real elegance.
Make sure your florist understands the exact colors and style you want. Ask to see a trial bouquet a month in advance because there is little that can be done the day of the wedding.

When planning your event in St. Louis your location may provide a coordinator, and you may think that is enough. However, it is still important to hire an event coordinator who is working for you rather than the location. Your event coordinator will correspond between all of your vendors as well as negotiate all of your contracts. Possibly giving you a lower price for that location.
If you know exactly how you want your event to go and have everything under control, great. You can hire an event coordinator to execute those visions the day of. Even though the coordinator will be hired for making that one day spectacular, there will be 40-50 hours of preparation work before hand. Make sure you meet with your coordinator so they know exactly how you want the event to be run. Let them get in contact with all your vendors so that everyone is in the same mind set. You will only have one person to contact, the event coordinator, who will keep tabs on all the many vendors from flowers, location, to car rentals.
The service you will receive from your location coordinator is minuscule. They will be in charge of the things such as the servers and bartenders; if staffed through the location. Also, will make sure the location is decorated to their standards which again is minuscule. They will not coordinate times with other vendors. The location may have 3 or 4 events going on the day of your event. The coordinator may not have time for all your needs and concerns.
So, keep in mind the value of your event coordinator!
